Be welcome Marieke!
Less than 3 weeks after we had to say goodbye to our magnificent stallion Sterre, our Rough collie Seppe died, quietly died in our arms, of old age.
In any case, we would buy a new Rough collie (a »Lassie »). And yesterday it was so far. We now have a puppy of 8 weeks : Marieke.
A beautiful symbolism is that Marieke was born on the same day that our Sterre died, namely 22 December 2018.

Wij vroeger ook, alleen zijn we in de Condroz blijven hangen. Nu zijn we de koning te rijk in deze charmante vierkantshoeve. Anke en Ed heten u van harte welkom in deze mooie regio met 4 charmevolle chambres d'hôtes, een 2de thuis voor even.
Onze b&b bevindt zich in het dorpje Vierset-Barse (Modave), tussen Huy (Hoei) en Durbuy. Kom genieten van de authentieke landelijke sfeer van weleer.
De natuur heeft hier de bovenhand. De Condroz, ook wel "la petite Loire belge" genoemd, is nog niet ontdekt door het grote publiek.

What makes us special? We are hobby farmers keeping various animals – horses, sheep, a donkey, rabbits, a little cow, dogs, cats, ... and that brings life to the brewery. You can take a trip with a horse and carriage, and you can even bring your own horse.
Culturally and historically, there is plenty to do in the neighbourhood.
Walking? Naturally!
Cycling? That is certainly possible if you have put in some training or if you have an electric bike to tackle the uphill stretches.
Motards? The well-known winding Vallée de la Hoyoux between Modave and Huy is only 2 kilometres from the 4 willows.
