With mighty and beautiful Flemish horses in a double carriage, pulled in front of a comfortable carriage, you will discover the most beautiful, idyllic spots of the Condroz and let yourself enjoy the beauty, peace, and quiet of nature.
A route of +- 1,5 hours is always driven in a double carriage because of the big gradients. Ed, the on-duty driver, likes nothing better than to go out with our own horses. Anyone who wants to can be there from the start, when Scala and Valérie are prepared to harness them.
There are several routes we can take. We go into the woods, uphill and downhill, we must take into account the weather (dry or wet ground), sometimes we cross the Hoyoux through the water, or if you like to keep it a bit quieter, we take the flat paths. We make sure that also children or people who are less able to walk can have a great time during this unique experience.
Once back home, we take care of our faithful four-legged friends and reward them with something tasty for the nice ride. Afterward, enjoy something delicious from the honesty bar while you go over the experiences of the day again, with an eye on our horses ...
The rate of € 80,- (€ 100,- if you are not staying with us) is per ride. In the carriage, there is room for 5 passengers, i.e. one pers. next to driver Ed, and 4 pers. behind (2 next to each other). A lot depends on the weight (and size) per person. Let's roughly say that we can carry a weight of 300 kg. Small children can easily sit with 3 beside each other, 3 adults. beside each other is not possible (the width of the backseat is 100 cm). If the group is too big, it is sometimes decided to do 2 short rides. So it doesn't matter if there are 2 or more persons on the carriage: there is only one price: easy, clear and simple.
This service is offered subject to the weather and any urgent field activities (e.g. hay).
